Our Team
DR CLAIRE MCGRATH B.A., B.Dent.SC.
Dr. McGrath qualified from Trinity College in 1993 and worked in Private Practice in London for a number of years. She returned home to Ireland in 1999 and established Sandyford Dental Practice.
Since then Dr. McGrath has earned an excellent reputation for achieving first class results. She is well known for her gentle touch, her patience and giving her patients the best possible solutions to their dental needs. Dr. McGrath has a loyal patient list who continually return over years for her gentle dental care; recommending her to their family and friends.
Dr.McGrath has been nominated numerous times for the Sensitive Dentist and Caring Dentist annual awards. She prides herself on making dental treatments feel less daunting to nervous patients.
She also has a keen interest in Aesthetic dentistry and keeps up to date with the recent trends and new technology in dentistry by participating in conferences, attending hands on courses and lectures. She fulfils her Continuous Professional Development annually.
Dr. McGrath is kept busy with her three children and In her rare free time is a keen golfer and hockey player.
Aisling Cullen - Practice Manager
Aisling has been with the practice since 2019. She has been Practice Manager in both general dental and specialist clinics. Before getting into dentistry she worked as a medical secretary in and has vast experience with patients. Aisling runs all the administration in relation to PRSI treatments and insurance claims and reports.
Aisling loves making patients feel welcome and at ease as the first point of contact in the clinic. Her favourite part of her job is seeing a nervous patient become more comfortable attending regularly and smiling as they leave.
Precy Kilroy - Head Nurse
Precy has been Chief Clinical Nurse with Sandyford Dental Practice since 2015. She has a wealth of experience in nursing having worked for 10 years in Saudi Arabia and has been nursing in Ireland since 2004.
Precy most enjoys caring for patients and making them feel less anxious. She also loves to train and teach new nurses and pass on her invaluable knowledge.
Precy loves to travel and has a passion for gardening and cooking!
Michelle Doyle - Hygienist
Michelle joined our practice in 2020. She graduated from Trinity College in 2001. She is also a qualified dental nurse and completed the Dental Radiography course with distinction in 2001.
Michelle also returned to education in 2009 to complete her Dental Anaesthetic course. She spends any spare time she has working out and keeping fit and healthy.
Anna (Nela) Hoelscher - Dental Nurse/Receptionist
Nela has been with the practice since 2022. She is currently studying to become a fully qualified dental nurse under the supervision of her mentor, head nurse Precy. She is very enthusiastic about dentistry and loves anything oral health related. Nela is very active in community groups and outdoor activities and loves an early morning sea swim!
